obsession didnt feel like a typical horror movie, rather a psychological thriller? it was scary in the way that real people like bear exist. was more disturbing to many than anything else; needless to say, i loved it! fave movie of the year :)

I love that Obsession doesn’t rely on jumpscares in order to make itself scary. Instead it utilizes deep and well thought out storytelling in order to scare you not just for a moment but throughout the entire movie.

A masterclass in directing by Curry Barker. He weaves romance, comedy, and horror together into a modern classic.
