13 Scares of Spooktober
The goal is 13 scares in October, from horror you haven't rated before. Movies, shows, seasons, books, games and events all count, in any mix you like, and each one is a scare however long it is. Episodes add up instead: about 90 minutes of them, a movie's worth, counts as one scare.
It runs from October 1 until midday UTC on November 1, so Halloween night counts wherever you are in the US. There's nothing to sign up for: rate something this month and you're in. Your progress page fills in as you go, and getting to 13 earns you this year's badge.
